over 20 percent of the population was infected by this pandemic. the spanish flu, as it was called, made people feel fine in the morning but ould kill them by nightfall. affected most people of ages 20-50 years old. killed over 600,000 people in the U.S alone. -
polio virus
jonas salk has taken the poliovirus into his own hands. His plan to inject people with the virus was hughly effective. he injected children with the virus and the outcome of that was full recovery. he then injected healthy people including himself with the poliovirus and found that they stayed healthy.
