  • Toddler (1-3)

    Focus on life goals, life centers on family,work, stress
    Begin to worry about health, kids leaving etc.
  • Middle Adult (41-60)

    Pulse: 60-100 RR: 12-20 systolic BP: 90-140 Temp: 96.8 (Can depend o Health) Kids leave, physical and emotional deteriation, cancer, vulnerable to vision and hearing loss, menopuase, diabetes, hypertension, wt problems etc. midlife crisis
  • Late Adult (60+)

    Vitals depend on Health of person/pt (conditions, meds etc,)
    Generally declines with age: cardiac output decreases, labored breathing, loss of natural elasticity, inability to replace blood, vascular system becomes stiff, aspiration and obstruction more likely, insulin levels, metabolism and activity decrease but food intake doesn't.
    digestive system becomes less effective, renal /filteration declines, Nervous/Sensory system is diminished= slower, less sensation
