This image ofAudrey Hepburn was taken while she was filming "Roman Holiday" which was her first big movie. This shows that before she was super famous, the media was still interested in her. On the cover, she is wearing a large hat, and her clothing is covering everything except her except her face. I think that this shows that she is very classy and can be beautiful without revealing herself.

    Oscar Win for Roman Holiday
In this video, Hepburn won best actress for the movie "Roman Holiday". In her speech, she kept it short and sweet and thanked everyone who helped with the movie. Although she says "I'm terribly happy", she seemed very sad while giving the speech. She only looked at the crowd once but mostly just looked down at the podium. It could be that she was nervous about speaking in front of all those people, but really it seemed like she was just upset.
  • Letter for Breakfast at Tiffany's

    Letter for Breakfast at Tiffany's
Hepburn wrote this letter to Henry Mancini, the man who wrote the music for Breakfast at Tiffany's. In her letter, she says "Everything we cannot say with words or show with action you have expressed for us", along with other very kind things. Most people don't give credit to all the people who work hard to produce the music for a movie, and the fact that she took time to write a personal letter to him shows that she is caring.

    Interview for "My Fair Lady"
In this interview, the interviewer asks her "between America and Europe, where do you feel more comfortable acting" and she answers by saying that it's too difficult to say because she loves them both very much. He also asks her if she would ever do a movie for the money, and she says "no never". I really respect that she wants her career to be about having fun and enjoying her roles, so she can perform better than if she was just doing it for the money.
  • Unicef

    Unicef
Hepburn worked with UNICEF for many years after she finished her acting career, which is an international agency that works with children in need. Charitable work is one of the greatest thing a person can do because they are only thinking of others and not focusing on themselves. She also worked with Goodwill, which is a domestic foundation that provides money for the poor. She was all around helpful and a great contributor t
  • Death

    Death
Audrey Hepburn passed away in her home in Swizterland. She was 63 years old and had recently undergone surgery for colon cancer. I'm not sure if she knew that she was going to die, but I like that when she did die, she was in Europe: her home continent. I think that she had closer ties with her European side so she could be with the people she loved when she passed away.
