Dec 5, 1765 then her mother sent her to live with an 80~year~old mrs. Tacher Dec 5, 1765 Mrs. Thatcher was sent to live with relatives. Dec 5, 1765 Deborah was sent to live with the Thomas family. Dec 5, 1770 she was 10 years old Dec 5, 1770 The people were angry with the King of England. Dec 5, 1773 Deborah was 13 years old. Dec 5, 1773 The King wouldn't let them get tea from any other country, so the people threw all the tea into the water. Dec 5, 1774 Deborah was 14 years old. Dec 5, 1774 The King punished the people of Boston. He said no ships could sail in or out. Dec 5, 1775 Deborah was 15 years old. Dec 5, 1775 The trouble was getting worse, and many people were getting ready for war. Dec 5, 1776 Deborah was 16 years old. Dec 5, 1776 The Declaration of Independence was written. It said that all men were created equal. Dec 5, 1778 She went to be a school teacher. Dec 5, 1778 Deborah was 18. Dec 5, 1778 The war was over and Deborah was free. Dec 5, 1782 Deborah Sampson joined the army as a continental soldier. Dec 5, 1805 The government gave money to all of the wounded soldiers. Dec 5, 1827 At the age of 67, Deborah Sampson died.
