when the U.S made and alliance with some other crountryies. this happened because we wanted to prevent WW 3. this was the way we prevented world war 3.

Creation of Warsaw Pact

It was known as the friendship treaty.
This was when the USSR made allies. and it was known as the Warsaw pact

Sputnik

sputnik was the first satellite ever launched by the ussr. it was put in a low orbit of earth. first thing ever launched into space.

Construction of Berlin Wall

his was when USSR tried to make half of the worl communists. This was the start of the cold war. this made us mad at the USSR.

Cuban Missile Crisis

It was when the US had missiles stationed in italy. I was the closest the cold war ever got to nuclear warfare. The U.S was threatening to send missiles at the USSR

This was when Neil Armstrong officially became the first man on the moon.Apollo 11 was the ship that took Neil to the moon. Most people think it was faked but it wasn't.
