By the year 1931 there were 80 schools operating. This was the highest amount of schools running at the same time. -
Half day schools were eliminated
It seemed that the half days were failing to provide the children with the proper education and training. -
The Last Residential School was Closed
The Gordon Residential School in Punnichy, Saskatchewan.
