Vine was a huge app all over the world known for its 6 second videos. Thousands of creators got their fame from vine! Sadly in 2016 Twitter announced that they would be removing the app. This was devastating for most teens.

I remember when Instagram stories came out and everyone was devastated. "It's basically snapchat now", well about five years later and i'm pretty sure we're all obsessed. I love instagram stories, they're great!

Nowadays, especially on twitter I will see brands, A-listers, etc. Respond to their followers in a way that draws a lot of positive attention. For example on Twitter I saw a post about someone talking about their new sustainable jeans they bought, the brand then reposted their post by saying something like, "A poser in some sustainable jeans". This is really eye catching to me, and draws my attention to the brand! They are engaging with their target audience.

I think Tiktok really started to boom in 2020. That is when I got the app and immediately became addicted.
