    The Hole Book
This book was so much fun to read. My parents bought it for my 6th birthday. Not only does it contain a paragraph on each page, but there is a permanent hole in the book which coincides with each appropriate picture. This has a lot of pictures.

When my son was five years old, he enjoyed reading The Berenstain Bears series. He especially enjoyed hearing the stories where the bears visit the doctor or the dentist. He wanted me to read them to him almost every night before bed time.
  • Where's Waldo

My six year-old son enjoyed looking at all the pictures of Waldo who was hidden on each page under or next to some other picture on the page. He always liked looking for the funny guy with the glasses and the red and white striped shirt. We would look at this book many times over together.

    Percy Jackson Lightning Thief Trilogy
When we moved to Texas, my youngest son was in sixth grade and he was very picky about what he read. He chose to read the Percy Jackson Lightning Thief trilogy and I bought the three stories for him and actually read the first one which did not grab my attention at all.
  • Redeeming Love

    Redeeming Love
When I began going back to college, I wanted a good book to read while I had some free time during substitute teaching. My sister in law recommended this book which was written by one of my most favorite authors. This was the first book of about five others that I read and it is still my favorite books and one I would not mind reading again sometime. The author writes ficticious stories based on the Bible characters.
  • Why Does Popcorn Pop?

    Why Does Popcorn Pop?
