    Brad woke up from a night of partying with his friends. He did not remember what happened at the party or on the drive home.

    Brad is remembering things from the drive home that he thinks his friend Alden is not completly telling him the truth.

    Brad is retracing the steps from the party and the drive home and putting pieces together on what he thinks happened.

    Brad realizes that while Alden was driving home from the party, He hit something.

    Brad put the pieces together to realize that he and Alden hit a person while drunk driving home from the party.

    Brad confronts Alden about the accident and Alden says the man that he hit was fine.

    Brad meets Ellen who drove to Connecticut to find her dad that was homeless. Brad helps Ellen to find her dad.

    Brad and Ellen realize that it was her father that Alden hit with his car and killing him. They know Alden lied and his father, the Judge, covered up the whole thing.

    Brad and Ellen get into an arguement because of the coverup and she leaves to go back home. Brad confronts Alden and his dad about the coverup which Mrs. Whitlock confirms that Alden killed a man while driving drunk and Mr. Whitlock covered it up to protect Alden.

    Alden met up with Ellen in Chicago and they go to College together.
  • Theme

    The Author wants the readers to know that you should never drink and drive. Also to trust your friends into doing the right thing.
