Civil servants were chosen throgh the civil exams. Only the rich had the money for schooling to pass the exams. -

Korean Goryeo King Seongjong creates a school for Confucian based classes. -

Neo- Confucianism is introduced in Japan as Shushigaku -

The Civil Service exams were very popular -

Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu created a new gov based off of neo-confucian morals. -
The religion strives on to this day and the works and beliefs of Confucius have been passed down through generations.
