    The Car was an invention created in Germany. I think this is important in Computer History because there are over 1 billion people in the world who have a car.

    The Difference Engine was a famous invention that was used to do math. So, the Difference Engine was basically a calculator from the 1850s.

    To me, the telephone is a very important part of computer history because without this invention we would not have our phones. We can thank Alexander Graham Bell for creating the very first telephone.

    Colossus is the first electronic computer the world has ever seen. Colossus had one purpose, and that is to break the Lorenz Cipher message from the Germans in the 2nd World War.

    The purpose was mainly for solving scientific calculations. Dr. John Vincent Atanasoff built it because he thought that it would save time even though it still took hours.

Also, now if we have to do research we can just search it online rather than having to go to the library and have to search for the book.

    The Smartphone is an important part of computer history because nowadays we use smartphones everyday. When this first came out it was pretty much a brick that looks like a mashup of the computer and a phone. Now, people are starting to make the smartphones lighter and lighter.
