  • Japan invades Manchuria

    Roosevelt was authorized by congress to sell, transfers, exchange, lease, lend. this act is important because the president was able to help transfer goods to different countries.

    Philips Randolph Threatened to organize a march on Washington. As a result of that, FDR issued the Exec Order 8022. It was to prevent ethnic and racial discrimination in the nations. it was important because it helped prevent racial conflict.

Atlantic Conference Churchill's alliance strengthened with the US and Great Britain by signing the Atlantic Charter.     The US was able to stop the Japanese advance. They are trying to acquire all the smaller islands around them. This is going to put the Japanese on defense. This is important to US history because it stopped the Japanese advance.
