    Ho Chi Minh was a Vietnamese Communist revolutionary leader who was prime minister and president of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Organized the Communist revolution in Vietnam and can be given much of the credit for reuniting Vietnam under communist rule. He died on September 2, 1969.
  • Iran Contra

However, it could not be discovered in hearings if the president had known about the Contra support.

This impacted the rest of the world by the destruction caused oil fires and spills were devestating and some nations today are still paying off debt. outcome is Kuwait's oil industry severely deteriorated.

    September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda on the United States. Terrorists hijacked four airplanes. And a fourth plane went down in Pennsylvania after passengers fought the hijackers. As a result the twin towers were destroyed, 2,996 people died, and 6,000 were injured.
  • War in Afghanistan

America's goal was to drive the ruling Taliban from power, after they had given sanctuary inside the country to Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda, which had plotted the terror strikes. That was accomplished on Nov. 13, 2001.
