    The war between the United States and the Soviet Union, this was post world war II while the United States had a threat because of Soviet Union technology advancing allowing them to make nuclear weapons.

    Berlin Blockade (Berlin Airlift)
    The first major act of the Cold war, Berlin blocked and denied trades or giving items to people in Berlin so they would use planes to drop items to people that were in need of food and items from the damage of WW2
  • Martin Luther King Jr.

    Martin Luther King Jr.
    Was a strong and intelligent African American who fought for civil rights and the freedom and segregation of black people who were separated yet not equal. He changed the world with his inspiring speeches in about 1950s-1960s yet was killed. He did all his speeches and changed history for black people to have their freedom and not be segregated anymore.

    An alliance that was formed between the Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, etc for the NATO. This treaty was for them to become allies and have agreements with communication while working well with each other. This was to show dominance of the soviet yet still find a compromise

    A very long and exhausting war between North Vietnam and South Vietnam, North Vietnam was a communist country and South Vietnam was an ally of the United States, meaning the United States were involved in helping the war. Over 3 million causalities occurred between the countries.

    Was well known as the girl who refused to give up her seat for a white person, which resulted her to being sent to prison. Though this was something that made other African Americans want to fight for their rights and equality. She did this to show that segregation is a horrible thing and people shouldn't give up their seats just because of their skin color and shouldn't be separated with horrible conditions.

    Was known as the "King of Rock and Roll", became very well known in 1956 for his music, he was important because it was a new type of music that changed a lot of people's music taste yet many people viewed it as satanic music. He made all the music and made famous to show a new genre of music which made people feel a different way during the conflicts throughout the years of him making music.

    A huge wall that divided Berlin and did not let any people leave Berlin, even if there was a valid reason, yet many people attempted to escape which was very difficult, people passed through, but there was consequences to those who were caught and trying to get over the wall.

    The Cuban Missile Crisis lasted about 13 days and it was whether or not Soviet should of launched missiles to Cuba which caused lots of tension between the US and Soviet Union.

    He was the 35th president of the United States before being assassinated by getting shot in the head leading to his death. There is no real answer to who killed him, yet there are several conspiracy theories about it. There is no reason why this happened, there are several reasons why this could of happened.

    This was a scandal that had occurred in the United States resulting in lots of problems such as government papers being stolen committed by 5 men who broke in the Democratic National Committee headquarters. This was an event that was so huge and news breaking that it is considered one of the biggest political scandals of all time. This was connected to president Nixon and was to steal stuff from the Watergate and somehow make the president look bad.

    Was the 38th president of the United States, he was never elected was either vice president or president, he became president due to the Watergate scandal. This was because Nixon was so suspicious of the scandal that they needed a president that was better even though he made lots of mistakes during his presidency and was mostly just a nice guy.

    Ronald Reagan was the 40th president of the United States who was also a famous actor and of course an American Politician. He was known as to many a very good president for making the Soviet Union end the conflict and war between the U.S. He was known as a very good president and he ended the conflict to stop anymore damage which was going too far.

    7 crew members were launching to go to space, was supposed to be a test rocket, yet was the 10th mission. The rocket exploded/split in half in a bit over a minute. Which killed the 7 members. It was supposed to launch on the 20th yet was delayed due to complications, many people, such as engineers, warned them that the design of the rocket will make it fail yet they didn't listen.

    The president of Iraq decides to invade Kuwait because of oil conflicts and the communication and friendship of other countries in the same area. The United States decides to go to Kuwait's side and destroys Iraq within a very short amount of time.

    Bill Clinton was the 42nd United States president, he was suspicious and found guilty of the Lewinsky scandal with having sexual relations of Monica Lewinsky. This was something that changed the views of people which impacted him by being impeached for lying, known as obstruction of justice.

    The terrorist attack towards america, which changed the viewpoints of people and security of america since then. The pentagon, world trade center and an an empty field in Pennsylvania. There were almost 3,000 deaths including a few terrorists that also died. This happened because of the conflicts between the U.S and countries such as Saudi Arabia.

    Major Natural Disasters (Hurricane Katrina & Hurricane Harvey)
    Hurricane Katrina occured in 2005, and hit many places such as New Orleans, Louisiana and affected other countries such as Cuba. This natural disaster caused several damage, lost homes and millions of money needed to fix the damage. Hurricane Harvey occurred recently in 2017 which was tied in with Hurricane Katrina. It hit Florida, Houston and other southern states and U.S territories billions of damage and in need of urgent volunteers and donations.

    Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States. Although he didn't win the popular vote but got 270. He promised many things such as building a wall and stuff about the trade. Also, he has fired James Comey during the middle of the Russia Investigation. Although it isn't all the way through is term, he has done several good and bad things.
