    At a Small College in Missouri, Winston Churchill makes his Iron Curtain Speech. Later, the Berlin Wall would become a literal symbol of the Iron Curtain and the Cold War in general.

    Truman announces the Truman Doctrine. This gives lots of aid to Greece and is also considered the declaration of the cold war. The Marshall plan would soon follow. The National Security act of 1947 is also declared.

    The Soviets block of Berlin, so the allies respond with the Berlin Airlift. Later, Chinese Communist capture Manchuria leading to the inevitable end of the communist revolution in China.

    1949
    Nato is established. The Soviets blockade on Berlin comes to an end. Mao Zedong declared the People’s Republic in China
  • 1950

    1950
    North Korea attacks South Korea, starting the Korean War. The UN police force rushes so the South's Defense. The US army conducts the Inchon Landings.

    1953
    Fidel Castro attempts to overthrow the Cuban Government. After he succeeds, The communist government in Cuba was the leading cause of The Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
