    It was a 1940’s military operation that supplies West Berlin with food and vital goods by air after the soviet union blockaded the city.
    It ended when Soviet forces lifted the blockades on land access to western Berlin.
    It happened after the U.S., Britain, France secretly met to discuss what to do with the soviets portion of Germany.

    This was created to stop the spread of communism and to unite the nations on the Atlantic coast.
    The U.S. was the one who started NATO.
    NATO were the ones who stopped world war 2 before it could begin.

    It started because of the conversion of western Germany to NATO.
    It was created to counterbalance the powers of NATO
