    Berlin Blockade
    The response of the Soviet Union to the U.S. aiding the European countries. Soviet Union decided to limit the US, France, and Great Britain's ability to travel to their sectors of Berlin. Made a blockade around the city of Berlin which they believed would force the citizens to starve and die. Great Britain and USA responded by airdropping food, water, and supplies to the citizens inside. The airdrops kept life going in Berlin for 11 months.
