    The end of WWII occured when Japan finally surrendured after the Atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

    In 1946, Joseph Stalin holds a speech for Russia, and in it he claims that comminism and capitalism were completely incompatible. To thrive, the country had to choose a side.

  • Truman demands Russia leave Iran

    Russia has taken over Iran, President Truman is not very happy about this, so he demands that they leave.

  • America's Test Baker

    America finally decided to show what strength it had by showcasing an underwater explosion. It is justly named "America's Test Baker.". It was a demonstration of the weaponry they had at the time.

    It was at this moment that Harry Truman decided to take an active role in the war.

    The country comes up with a plan to help fight malnutrition and poverty in less fortunate countries.

    A new President was elected, JFK was willed the Cold War, as the US was in a very tense situation.

    The Cuban Missile Crisis occured, and everyone in the United States was on Red Alert for quite a while.

  • Borders are Closing

    At this time the borders of Berlin Closed, and soon after the construction of the wall started.

  • Sending Military to Fight Communism

    The United States decides to send Marines to the Dominican Republic to help fight against Communism.

  • Dispatching Troops

    The United States decides to dispatch 200,000 troops to Vietnam.

  • The Berlin Wall Comes Down

    The Berlin Wall is destroyed. People are allowed to freely migrate from East to West Germany.

  • Communism Falls

    Government that includes Communism starts to fail. Countries affected are: Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, and Rumania.

  • The End

    The Soviet Union, and The Cold War ends.
