Considered climax of Cold war, was between Soviet Union and US. Was a stand off between JFK and Nikita Krushcher ame closer to a nuclear war than ever before. Ended October 28, 1962 -

Policies that effected economic government and politically. To have citizens be more envolved with politics and allow small businesses to grow by themeselves. These policies helped the Soviet Union to fall. Ended December 25, 1991 -
Fall of Communism/ Soviet Union
The presidents of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus signed the Belavezha Accords, Soviet Union destroyed and established the Commonwealth of Independent States over the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was gone and the Cold War was over.
