North Korea had invaded South Korea. To this day no peace treaty has been signed. (Just to be ironic just after, I found that out it was signed the day I'm doing this project :))

The Berlin Wall was basically put up overnight. It was caused due to people from east Germany going to west Germany. It was heavily guarded and was a large defense mechanism against the Germans.

The Cuban Missile Crisis was the closest to nuclear war and ending the world and the closest its ever been to it. It was the Soviet Unions missiles that were stationed in Cuba. This was also a 13 day stand off.

President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, TX. He was the original thought of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Know as a great leader throughout the Cold War

The United States sent 150,000 soldiers to Vietnam. It was a war between the country of Vietnam and the group called the Viet Cong. Unfortunately the United States didn't follow through and we didn't stick through the war.

All borders were opened and the Berlin Wall was torn down. The Iron Curtain was no longer in affect. Russia had dissolved its self.

Jimmy Carted was the 39th President of the United States. His thoughts were that the U.S would stop doing what Dixon was doing before him. Carter set up a plan to get the American hostages back but his plan failed miserably.
