    The United States got into the Vitnam war in 1955 to stop the spread of communism. The United States helped South Vitnam and NorthVitnam was backed by soviet communists. The War was won on april 30, 1975 by north vitnam.

    Presdent Kennedy sent out 1400 former Cubans to Cuba to attack Castro' s army . The U.S goverment wanted to overthrow Castro because he was Communist. We were outnumbered and we failed.

    The soviet union buld the Berlin Wall 1961 to separate Communist East Berlin from WestBerlin. On Noverber 9 19989. East Germany opened The Berlin Wall and that united the two halves of Germany. On October 3, 1990 they held its first free elections and Germany became one nation.
