Suez Crisis
here is a canal connecting the Indian Ocean States. Anyone that wanted to use it could but Britain and France decided they wanted to control it. They blocked off the canal until the U.S came to break open the canal and make them back down. -

The Berlin Crisis was when half of germany was not agreeing with the other half so they put the Berlin Wall in the middle of Germany which started a huge problem. -
Cuban Missle Crisis
The moment in the Cold War when it almost turned into a Nuclear War. The cubans and Soviets on one side and basically the Untited States on the other. The cubans were testing many nuclear missles. -
Yom Kippur War
The Yom Kippur War started with a surprise Arab attack on Israel in 1973. Egyptian and Syrian military forces launched an attack knowing that the military of Israel would be participating in the religious celebrations associated with Yom Kippur. -

The decade long war resulted in millions of Afghans fleeing their country, mostly to Pakistan and Iran. Hundreds of thousands of Afghan civilians were killed by the war.
