Formed with the signing of the Washington Treaty.
NATO is a security alliance of 28 countries from North America and Europe.
NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organization. -
Korean War
There was no winner at the end of the Korean War.
North Korean was occupied by the Soviet Union.
There was great tensions between North and South Korea -
Vietnam War
Eisenhower sent weapons to Vietnam.
Kennedy sent more weapons and advisers to Vietnam.
Johnson sent large amounts of U.S. Troops and ordered bombing raids.
Nixion ordered more bombing raids and ground attacks then later brought the troops home. -
