Lee had tried but failed and retreated to Richmond. Union General Burnside decided to follow him. Lee intercepts Union troops and wins.

In Chancellorsville Virginia, Lee broke up his units into flanking the enemy. Union General Hooker was surrounded and had to retreat. Stonewall Jackson was killed though, by his own soldiers!

Also known as the "the day the South died", Union General Meade was againsted Confederate Pickett and Lee. Pickets charge was a bad move by the rebels. Union won.
