    This was the first battle of the civil war, The south attacked the norths fort in South Carolina

  • Battle of Bull Run (1st)

    This battle took place in Virginia, the Norths leader was Mcdowell and the souths leader was Beauregard. the confederates won this battle

  • Battle of Antietum

    The union won this battle and the most important rusult was the general Mclellan was fired as head general. Ths souths leader was Lee.

  • Battle of Hampton Roads

    This naval battle in virginia this battle ended on march 9 1862 with a union victory

  • Battle of Shiloh

    The battle took place in tennese. The norths Leader was Grant and the souths was Johnston. The north won forcing the south to retreat.

  • Battle of Bull Run (2nd)

    The second battle of bull run took palce in Virginia, the souths leader was Lee and the norths was Mclellen. The Confederates won this battle but at a heavy price. They lost many soilders but the city of Richmond was saved. The last of the fighting ended on August 30 1862

    The battle of Fredricksburg was in Virginia with the souths commander, Lee and the Norths commander, Burnside. The confederates won this battle,ending it on December 15, 1862.

    The battle of Chancellorsville took place in Virginia. The norths commander was Hooker and the souths was Lee. this battle ended May 4 1863 with a confederate victory.

    The battle was in Mississippi. The norths leader was grant and the souths was Pemberton. The union won this battle

  • Battle of Gettysburg

    The battle of Gettysburg took place in Pennslyvania. Norths General Meade and the Souths General Lee fought for three days, ending on July 3, 1863

    This battle was in Georgia, it ended on September 2. The norths leader was Sherman and the souths was Hood. The Union Won tie battle and it helped with lincolns relection.

    General Lee surrendered to General Grant in virginia officially ending the civil war
