Took place in Tennesse and resulted in a Confederate victory. Confederate soldiers disguised themsleves as Union soldiers and infiltrated their camps.

Battle of Dover

Also took place in Tennesse which resulted in a Union victory after the Confederacy failed to attack a town. This was also the only battle that took place in Febuary of 1863.

Battle of Fort Wagner

Took place in South Carolina, resulted in Confederate victory after the Union failed to capture Fort Wagner. This was their first of two atempts to capture the Fort

Due to a flanking movement by Union troops. The confederates were forced to evacuate their strong postion near Atlanta. This was a major victory for the Union.

This Battle took place in Texas and some argue that this battle should have never took place. Rumor has it, the only reason Union Colonel Theodore H. Barret declared a battle against the Conferate trrops was because he just wanted to see conflict before the Civil War ended. This is known as the last organized battle of the Civil War
