Women's equal pay was a protest that was for women to be able to support a family working, not just in the house. Along, with the same amount of pay as the men get. This took several years a fight with the Supreme Court to let women start working. Once they started, they were getting paid barely enough to live off of until their next pay. Women were always at the bottom of everything along with children. They got talked down on for wanting to work. Also, worked harder than men but was paid less.

Montgomery Bus Boycott took place after the arrest of Rosa Parks. Martin Luther King Jr. proposed a boycott against segregation in public transportation systems. African Americans stopped using the system and would walk or get rides from neighbors or friends.

These group of high school students called the little rock nine were escorted to an all-white high school that they had attended but the Arkansas National Guards. Because of all the hate that the white had towards them, they pulled their children from that school and started following the nine children trying to hurt and get rid of them. These kids had a chance to get a better education and that chance was a blessing but the hatred and violence that came with it is nothing that people want ever.

Many groups and individuals vehemently opposed the Vietnam War in the massive peace movement. King compared the antiwar movement to the civil rights movement and denounced U.S. involvement in a series of speeches, rallies, and demonstrations. His stance cost him many allies, including President Lyndon Johnson, but King maintained his antiwar position until his assassination exactly one year to the day after he delivered his “Beyond Vietnam” speech.

The movement protested segregation in Albany, Ga. King's goal was to be heard however he was arrested during a demonstration and was given 45 years or a fine to be bailed. He chose jail so the case can be pushed and was released 3 days later. The movement eventually disbanded because they went years without any accomplishments.

This march happened to be the biggest human rights rally ever to happen in the United States at the time. About 200,000 to 300,000 participants were in the march to protect their jobs and rights to freedom for African Americans.

The goal of this campaign was to end discriminatory economic policies in Alabama city against African American residents. The campaign used nonviolent tactics such as sit-ins with the goal of getting arrested so that the city jail could be too crowded for any more arrests. Police used dogs and high-pressure horses against the protesters but the campaign was successful to show most of the signs of segregation. This made public places more accessible to people of all races.

Jim Crow laws were the laws that had segregation enforced Southern Unites States. The Congress and Supreme Court finally overruled the laws after the protects and boycotts about African Americans and immigrants being killed and taken away. Which was able to end segregation in the United States only.

This march went down in history as Bloody Sunday for the violent beatings state troopers inflicted on protesters as they attempted to march peacefully. The march was aimed at fighting the lack of voting rights for African Americans. Approximately 600 protesters were to travel from Selma on U.S. Police violence against protesters brought the march to a shocking end. Footage of the brutality broadcast across the nation sparked public outrage and boosted support for the civil rights movement.

Approximately 30 people were injured, including King, who was hit in the head with a brick. An agreement was announced to build public housing in predominately white areas and to make mortgages available regardless of race or neighborhood. The Chicago Freedom Movement continued through 1967 and was credited with inspiring the Fair Housing Act.

On this day, Martin Luther King Jr. was supporting a sanitation workers' strike in Memphis. After the strike on his way to dinner, King was struck with a bullet to his jaw causing it to sever his spinal cord. King was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead at the arrive. It was devastating for a lot of people to hear about it, and it was an unreal feeling. Campaigns and protests were still going on to honor king and the US is seen differently because of this moment.

This was a campaign for different types of ethnicities being all poor. The campaign's major march occurred at the Solidarity Day Rally for Jobs, Peace, and Freedom on June 19. The bill of rights the campaign strived to establish never became law, but the federal government enacted several programs to end hunger.

This movement was a fight for the right of women and men education, workforce, pay, and daily life. Women were and still are getting less respect than men do causing the difference of experience. When young, there isn't much separation other than what girls and boys can wear, and we they can play with such as video games and dolls. When they get older, where they want to work, study, what they look like, and how they act, and talk is a big part of what women can't do but is what men usually do.

It was illegal for women back then to have abortions because family blood lines needed to be continued for the house and field work. Immigrants weren't in a great position out of the United States. So, they tried to come into the US with fresh start, but that's not what they got. They were killed and taken into camps to work for money that would barely help them stay alive for 2 days. Later, they were able to win over their rights to education in school and around the amount of minimum wage that other workers got. They advanced and helped the Us get new investments and technology as the country is growing.

During this period, anyone apart of the LGBTQ community were able to get the equal rights. Such as making it legal to marry the same sex and not having child protected services for being a part of the community. These group of people are being treated like human beings and are now allowed to do almost any other person can. Some laws are prohibited to these group of people because of inequality that is still going on.

The organization was first founded in 2013. It wasn't well known until the murder of George Floyd in 2020 by a former police officer. The purpose of the movement was to how that some races are more targeted than others by a certain group of people. The organization is spread all of the world and African Americans are letting their voices out to be heard by making protests. The protest has gotten really violent leading to death and prison for some.

Police brutality has been a problem since 19440's are even earlier. It been a problem for years. Protests have been made to make people's voices heard. The amount of abuse and violence that some policemen are giving is unacceptable and not an example to anyone. Most officers are good but the ones they aren't make them look really bad making it harder for people trying to protect their country.

George Floyd was an African American male that was caught with having fake money trying to us it to buy groceries. Later, the police came and arrested him. Floyd was held on the ground for 8 minutes and some seconds with one of the officer's knee on the back of his neck causing him to pass away right in the street. His wife and daughter were left without a father and a husband. That moment was the start of protest and many action being taken to have their voices heard and to honor Floyd.

In 2021, the Monsoon rains torn down the process of the border President Trump was trying to build. Ever since then, the wall was not put back up or thought about separating people that are calling for help. United States is wanting to help the immigrants more and while Trump was in office, he wanted to separate them thinking they would come and destroy the country that we have or take our technology. Now some immigrants are allowed in the US, but others are having problems trying to get in.
