    On Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, Ms. Wilson explained the China timeline assignment. Students were asked to create their own timeline for one period of Chinese history, which helped them both learn more about and demonstrate their understanding of the major historical events that have happened in China over the past 100 years.

    Timeline Work Time
    On Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, the students in Comparative Government had time during class to work on their timelines. This gave students the opportunity to get a large chunk of their work done during school, and it also provided them with time to ask questions.
  • Timelines Due!

    Timelines Due!
    On Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, the students in Comparative Government completed their timelines. Each student sent an email to Ms. Wilson before 11:59pm. This email included a link to his/her timeline and a separate bibliography document listing (in correct MLA format) all the sources he/she used for the timeline.

    Sharing Timelines
    On Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, Ms. Wilson sent an email to all the students in Comparative Government. This email contained links to all the timelines created by the students. This is important because it allows students to view and learn from the work their classmates have done.
  • Peer Viewing and Comments

    Peer Viewing and Comments
    On Monday, Dec. 10, all the students in Comparative Government commented on the timelines created by their peers. These comments took place on Engrade, and explained what surprised or interested students about their classmates' timelines.

    On December 15, 2012, Ms. Wilson finished grading the timelines and posted the grades on Engrade.
