The house was sold to Mr Alex Smith who used it as a
private residence. -
Mrs Claude Young, Mr Alex Smith’s
daughter, converted the house into a boarding house after her father passed away. -
The Charleville and District Historical Society Inc.
purchased the house and turned it into a museum.
