  • Coral Reefs

    During his H.M.S. Beagle voyage, Darwin came up with the theory which solved the mystery of coral reefs and atolls. He stated that the reason for the formation of coral reefs and atolls was because of the uplift of large portions of the earths crust. Darwin, Charles, 1809-1882.
