  • Charles Darwin Born February 12, 1809 Died April 19 1882

Charles Darwin is known for his theory of evolution. The name of his book was called "The Origins of Species". His theory is simple to follow. However to read it was difficult for the common person. So he had a outline at the beginning of each chapter. "In fact, it was possible to follow Darwin's argument in "The Origins of Species" simply by reading all the outlines at the beginning of each chapter is succession". (Francis p 52)
  • Charles Darwin The beginning years 1831

on April 26, 1831, Darwin graduated from Cambridge with B.A., I believe Darwin was more self taught. It is important to note that his father had a medical practice. So you can say the apple does not fall car from the tree. No doubt he was home schooled to a certain degree, at least in my opinion. He grew up Shrewsbury, in the county of Shropshire, an rural county of England. Darwin kept a log of every thing he did. From work to family, he even wrote about his dogs.
  • Darwin's favorite dogs 1872, and 1874

Darwin's dogs , Bob, and Polly, he loved dearly. Darwin wrote about this in two of his books. "The Decent of Man"(1872), and "The expressions of the Emotions in Man and Animals".(1872) These two books are now on my reading list. To me Darwin has shown great compassion towards people, and animals. To me this is a trait all scientist should have. When it came to Darwin's s book "The origin of Species". Not ever one agreed. After all scientist are suppose to refute theories.
  • The Origin of Species refuted 1860 by Thomas Huxley

The Origin of Species refuted 1860 by Thomas Huxley
When it came to Darwin's book " The Origin of Species " it was more about natural selection than evolution, at least that was Darwin's Idea. "Thomas Huxley,1860 did not agree with Darwin".
