    Also Known as the Treaty of San Lorenzo, this treaty established good relations with the United States and Spain. It also allowed the U.S, to travel upon the Mississippi River and established boundaries between the U.S and the Spanish colonies. Thomas Pinckeny helped negotiate with Spain.     The trail of tears was a result of Andrew Jacksons Indian Remival Act. This act forced Indian nations to give up their land west of the Missipppii River and they were relocated to an area of present day Oklahoma.
