    Labor laws wet. These laws stated that children were not aloud to work and Womans working conditions were to be improved. Some states laws stated that children needed to know how to read and write in order to go to work.

    Samuel led the AFL. The AFL is the American Federation of Labor. The AFL consists of un experienced workers.
  • Daniel Burnham

    Daniel Burnham
    Burnham, an achitect, came up with a plain to redesign Chicago. The center piece of the city would be a big city hall. He felt this center atraction to be a goof image to attract people.

    The Triangle Shirtwaist Fire
    Almost 500 employees were about to leave their Triangles Shirtwast factory when a bin cought on fire. It wasnt long until the whole eighth floor was indulged in flame. Several people jumped from windows.
