More rooms with tables or other furniture vs. desks. Mobile devices or Chromebooks often out. Hard to find the teacher who is circulating and offering guidance or gathering formative data to guide next steps.

A variety of instructional/classroom choices exist for students that have been designed from student need: Classes with students that value working individually, classes with students who learn best with collaboration, hybrid classes that are "open" 24/7 with face-to-face time as well as at home time, etc.

As teachers (Digital Immigrants) become immersed in the New World of collaboration that technology allows, we begin to see courses that integrate subject areas. English and Social Studies are earliest pioneers, then math and science and eventually everyone else.
