A war between France and Britain over the control of land and the fur trade. Also known as the Seven Year War. The British win and they gain control of the Mississippi River and the land east of the Mississippi River. And parts of Canada. -
Sugar Act
Colonial merchants had to pay a tax of six pence per gallon.
They would have to pay more which it was almost a luxury to have it. -
Stamp Act
Items that were printed were required to show that items had been taxed. -

Fight between the British and Patriots. -
Boston Tea Party
The people didn't like being taxed and having to pay more for tea. People dusguised as Native Americans and destroyed the ship of tea. -
Proclamation of 1673
It was an imagenary line done by the British officials to keep the colonists from settling east of the Appalachian Mountains. This angered the colonists. -
