King George the lll signed the Proclamation of 1763. The English could not go any where near the west of the Appalachian Mountains. The Proclamation of 1763 made the people living there move somewhere else. The reason why they did this was to give to the Native Americans so they would have a better relationship.

Every printed material was taxed when the Stamp Act happened. Americans would have to pay tax not to there own legislates. They will be paying to the British which made the British more rich.

All items like sugar, textiles, wine, indigo (dye), and coffee prices were all increased. The Sugar Act gave the British more money. The Colonists did not like this act because they had to pay more money.

The troops got to stay in some colonist houses. If the Barracks were full they were the last option because of the Boston Tea Party. If they resisted they would be arrested right there.

A mob attacked the British solders because of their taxing. The soldiers shot their muskets at the people because they were attacking them. They killed 3, wounding two and injuring 6 people in the mob.

"The Sons of Liberty" all dumped 45 tons of tea into the ocean. They were all dressed as Indians as they dumped the tea. They were angry about the tea taxes so they dumped it all.

The British closed the Port in Boston because of the Boston Tea Party, They will open it again when the price of all the tea is recovered. They also moved the capital of Massachusetts to Salem and the Marble head is now the port of entry.

The Royal governor appointed all the the law officers. The Royal governor had to approve all town meetings. If he didn't they would get into a lot of trouble.

Now Royal governors could move their trials of their colonies to different colonies. The Colonies could even go to England if they wanted to. If they felt like the juries wouldn't be fair that the reason why they could go to England.

The Quebec act gave the French Canadians religious freedom. They also were allowed civil government too. Canada would then replace the Proclamation of 1763
