The "Sons of Liberty", a group of men went to the Boston harbor as Mohawk Indians. Then they went onto the ship with all of the tea on it. Then they dumped 45 tons of tea into the harbor.

This closed the Boston Port in 1774 until the price of the tea was paid back. This moved the capital of Massachusetts to Salem. This also made Marblehead the main port for Massachusetts.
