    The Proclamation of 1763 was singed King George III. The proclamation prohibited any English settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains. It required those who were living there to move back east.

    The Stamp Act was singed by Parliament to give direct tax to the colonies. They did this so they could get money for there military. The taxes went straight to New England.

    The Sugar was passed by Parliament. So that they could pay for debt from the French and Indian war. The act also increased the duties on imported sugar, textiles, coffee, wines and indigo.
  • Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre occurred when group of people was protesting. The British fired there muskets at them. The British killed three and injuring eight.

    A group of men called the "Sons of Liberty" dressed as Mohawk Indians. They dumped tea in the bay. The cost of the tea in present day was one million dollars.

    The act allowed the troops stay in homes or empty warehouses. They could only stay in the places if there were no barracks available. If they stayed in house they didn't have to the people they could just stay there.

    The port was closed until the price of tea was recovered. They moved the capital of Massachusetts to Salem. The new official port was the Marblehead.

    Impartial Administration of Justice Act

    Made so that governors could go to different courts of the colonies if they wanted to. They could also go to England if they didn't the judge would do it how they wanted. The only governor that could do this is if it was royal governor.

    This act mad all law officers cancel all meetings. The act made so there could be no meeting by royal governor. If they wanted a meeting they had to approval by the royal government.

    Gave civil government and religious to Catholics to people in Quebec.
