It was signed by King george the 3rd. This proclamation kept the colonist from colonising west of the Appalachian Mountains. The colonist were really upset about this because they had just fought a war for the Ohio River Valley which was west. -
The sugar act was passed for England so they could make up money from the French and Indian war. The colonist were not real happy about this either because it didn't just tax the sugar. It also taxed items like textiles, coffee, wines, and indigo(dye). -

On this day The colonist were protesting and supposedly beaten a british officer who shot then other british soldiers fired once. Five died, two were mortally wounded, and six were injured. It was very confusing for those who heard about it and traumatic for everyone who was there. -
The group that threw the tea into the harbor called themselves The Sons of Liberty.They dressed as Mohawk indians to disicse themselves. Around Forty-Five tons of tea was dumped which cost around 1 million dollars. -
This shut down boston port until the dumped tea could be payed for. This affects everyone, people whose jobs depended of the trade had little to no income.It made the colonist move the capital to another city and the made another port the main port. -
The intolerable acts were passed because of the boston tea party. The colonist were really mad about the acts passed. It didn't just shut down boston but made it really hard to pay them back for the tea they dumped.In England they called the acts the Coercive Act. -
Allowed the governor to move a trial to another colony or England. This would make things unfair because no one knew the person and people got much more marsh punishments than they needed.During this no one was judged fairly. -
