    Proclamation of 1763

    It was signed by King George the 3rd. It said no colonists west of Appliation Moutains. They had to leave even if they were settled.

    This increased taxes on imported goods. This effected foods such as sugar, coffee and wine. It also effected indigo and textiles.

    It put tax on all printed material. It also taxed Dice and playing cards. The colonists did not have a say i this and it made them mad.

    The Boston Massacre happened after a crowd brutally treated Britan’s soldiers. They loaded and shot their muskets blankly with no point. Five were killed and six were wounded
  • Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party is a response to the over taxing. It was done by the sons of liberty. They dressed up as Indians and they got the port closed in 1774.
  • Massachusetts Bay Regulation Act

    Massachusetts Bay Regulation Act

    This act banned all meetings that was not approved by the Royal Governer. This made the colonists mad so they decided to do something about it. In response they called a convection without approval.

    This act was passed by the Parliament of Great Britain in 1774. This act lead up to the Declaration of independence. This act is also known as the Murder Act or the Monkey act.

    This closed the port of Boston in 1774. This was a response to the Boston tea party. The Port remained closed until the tea was paid off.

    The Quartering Act made colonists house a solider. They had to feed, house, and clean up after the solider. They did this with no pay and it mad them very mad.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act

    This act granted rights that the colonists wanted. These rights were civil government and religious freedoms to catholics in Quebec. This made the colonists mad because this is what they had been asking for.
