A war that was fought in 1754 and ended in 1763. This war was fought between the French, British, and the Indians. Colonel George Washington headed a small force of 150 English militiamen who had been ordered to capture Fort Duquesne. The fort, of course, was guarded by a lot more than 150 men. Washington's men fired on a French patrol but had to retreat. In their haste, they built a crude structure named Fort Necessity. Britain won this war and took all of the French's land.
