    Boston Massacre
    On a night in March of 1770 in Boston, Massachusetts an anti-tax mob attacked a fleat of British soldiers . That attack was getting out of control and then the British soldiers accidently shot and killed 5 colonists. When the British soldiers were acquitted of killing 5 colonists, other colonists believed that the Britsh would enforce tax laws
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    The tea act that was passed by Parliament would launch the final spark to the revolutionary movement in Boston. In 1773, the radical leaders in America found reason to believe that this act was a way to buy popular support for the taxes already inforced.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    In Boston 1773 the Tea Act had increased the price of tea so in December of that same year the Sons of Lberty (anti-tax group started and lead by John Hancock and Samuel Adams) disguised themselves as Indians and they sneaked aboard 3 British ships and had dumped barrel upon barrel of tea into the harbor.

    Intolerable Acts
    The British government decided to reap greater benefits from the colonies. In 1774, those acts that were signed icreased the taxes within the colonies and also having no represintation in Britain. In retaliation the British set more punitive acts aiming at the colonies for them to submit back under the Kings rule.

    The battles of Lexington and Concord kicked off the war of the American Revoluitonary war that expanded from 1775-1783. Tensions between the two has been rising over until the boiling point had gone over. A confrontation on the battlegrounds of Lexington started off the fighting and then the British hastily retreated afte the intensity of fire. In 1783 the colinies happily won their independence
