french and indian war
a war between the french and british over land and control of the fur trade in north america. britain won the war and gain control of the mississippi river, land east of the mississippi, and part of canada. -
The Proclamation of 1763
people can not stay west of the Appalachian Mountains. -
Sugar Act
People were already in a economic depression so they did not have alot of money. Great Britain wanted them to pay a tax on the food and supplies. -
Stamp Act
The stamp act was for the people that go threw the river and pay to go threw and they get a stamp to let the other check points that they payed to be on the river. -
Son of Liberty
The North was stopping slavery and trying to make the America free and not have slavery. -
Declaratory Act
Was right after the Stamp Act. Many people were ripping off britian so they got mad and wanted to be treated right so they made this act. -
Townshend Acts
The tea was getting taxed if you buy tea the price will be a little hight but uts how much you buy of it. -
Boston Massacre
People got mad because they were getting taxed so they started a roit and they tryied to get pass the troops but one of the troops was hit by a rock so he opened fired into the crowd and the others troops just opened fired too. -
Tea Acts
The colonist did not like the tea party because Merchants who had been acting as the middlemen in legally importing tea stood to lose their business
