The Sugar Acts

In 1764, the British parliament passed the Sugar Act, which taxed Sugar and wine shipped to North America. Taxes on other goods shipped through Britain to North America have tripled. This tax policy caused public anger among the colonists.

Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre was an incident on King Street in Boston on March 5, 1770. British soldiers killed five civilians and wounded six others. The aftermath of the incident was the one that inspired the rebellion in the British north American colonies and ultimately led to the American revolution.

Boston aTea Party

A political resistance in Boston, the movement organized by colonial civil resistance "son of the liberty" leadership and action. On December 16, 1773, in the last day of the protest, anglophile governor Thomas Hutchinson still refused to repatriate the British east India company tea ships, therefore dozens or hundreds of members of the son of freedom while the night ship threw all the tea into the water to destroy.The Boston tea party was a key event in the American revolution.
