Review past methods of optimization strategies and change forms at system level
Since the Go-Live for the Sunrise EMR implementation is January 28, 2017 at my hospital, optimization practices for the other hospitals in the system will be reviewed with my mentor who is the Director of Clinical Information Systems for my hospital & at the system level.

Gather research on different Optimization Strategies
Optimization strategies can vary depending on population, staff, and facility. Determining which strategy will work for the health system is an important part of starting the optimization process. The Go-Live for the Sunrise EMR implementation is January 28, 2017. -
Determine structure of optimization committee
Since this committee is to be developed for different hospitals, a committee structure that will fit a small community hospital up to a large tertiary hospital will be needed. -
Review Change Control process for EMR
Change Control will also be a part of the optimization plan. Reviewing the current change control process and determining its efficacy will continue to determine if any changes need to be made. -
Finalize Practice Optimization Plan to be presented to health system
Based on the the research done, a recommendation for implementing a change practice optimization plan and committee can be finalized in order to present to the health system. -
