    This was created by Frank C. Mars in Minnesota. The idea was based off of a milkshake. There were two flavors, chocolate and vanilla. There are also many slogans, the most recent being, "Life's Better, The Milky Way!"

    Created by Sean le Noble from Chicago. He tried to make perfectly round chocolate covered caramel candy, but they did not turn out round. An employee called them, "Duds". "Milk" comes from the large amount of milk put in the product.

    Made by Mars, Inc. in the US. It originally had three flavors, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. It cost only $0.05 when it was introduced. In August 2007, they introduced the 3 Musketeers Mint.

    This was invented by Forrest Mars during the Spanish Civil War. It was first packaged in a cardboard tube. This tube changed into a pouch in 1948.

    The founder of Dum-Dums was John Phillips. This happened in Ohio. They are made in 16 flavors with others made each year. The mystery flavor is any two flavors combined together.

    This was invented by the Jelly Bellies Company. The first flavors made were Very Cherry, Root Beer, Cream Soda, Tangerine, Green Apple, Lemon, Licorice, and Grape. These were sold at Ronald Reagans Inauguration in 1981. Just for the event, they invented a new flavor...Blueberry. Three tons of jelly beans were served that day. Each jelly bean is 1 calorie! There are now 50 official flavors.
