    Henry Fox Talbot was an english botanist and mathematician.
    He sensitized paper to light with a silver salf solution than he exposed the paper to light so the background became black and it had gradations of grey. He made contact prints reversing the lights and shadows to creat a detailed photo. In 1841 he perfected this paper-negative process and called it a calotype
