the purpose was to tax Tea, Glass and paper. The outcome was people not buying these taxed goods anymore and boycotting them. -
Tea act
Purpose Tea Company granted sole right to sell tea directly to Americans.Outcome is that groups of people vowed to stop the East Indias ships from unloading. -
Coercive Acts
Its purpose was to punish massachusetts people for resisting to the british law. The outcome was closed harbors until they pay off the cost of the tea they dumped in water. Also soilders put into their homes. -
