This theory started in the begining of the 1800's. In his theory he belived that humans developed from other creatures. his belief created a form of revolution. In present times, men prefer women who are healthy and nurturing so they will be able to take care of their kids and Women prefer men who work, so they can provide for their family.
I choose this date because this year the revolution begun and people were searching for a scientific explanation for this evolution. -

Natural Selection
Charles Darwin, an example of natural selection is birds with beak shapes have a better chance to get nectar from flowers or eating hard seeds in other environments .darwin later described his theory " survival of the fittest". The phrase means the variety of traits one has in order to survive and adapt in extreme enviroments.
I choose this date because this year was when the experiment was done and Darwin established his theory. -

James Lang- Theory ( Theory of Emotion)
William James, studied that external stimulus results into a pschyiological reaction. For example, suppose you see a poisonous snake, your heart begins to race because in the James- Lange Theory your physical reaction concludes that your frightened.

Jean Piaget, A Swiss psychologist used a 3D display of a mountain scene to determine how easy or difficult it was for children to take on a another persons perspective. -
Egocentrism
Jean Piaget stated that younger kids are egocentric. They child is unable to distinguish between what is subjective and what is objective. In piaget's experimnet he focused on language and morality. In ages 7-12 children becomes less egocentic and see the viewpoints of others.

Freudian Theory
Sigmun Freud, This theory shows that we are inherited by our early childhood and irrational drives such as human behavior, experience and cognition. This theory states that your behavior will influence you later in life.If certain issues are not nresloved at certain stages a fixation can occur, which is a process from a psychosexual stage.
I choose this date because this year Frued, did his tests on his patients and collected his information to state his theory. -

Abraham Maslow, American pshychologist, the experiment showed the satisfaction of human needs because it values personal ideals and self fuffilment. -

Hierachy of needs, this appraoch captures the entire aspects of a human mind. It focuses on free and personal growth. Maslow created the hierachy of needs, and to complete the basic needs first such a food and water.
I choose this year because in this year he created the hierachy of Needs and stated that humans need the baisic needs to surivive, like food. -

In this experiment, the theory revolves around people and the culture there put under. During early years of children development parents were responsible for the children for the devolpment and behavior for their children.

Stanely Milgrem, American psychologist, the experiment demonstated the pros and cons of power into authority and obedience. -
Behaviorsm
The experiment performed by Bandura, showed that people now only learn from being punished or rewarded, they also learn from WATCHING someone being rewared or punished. That is called Observational Learning. This is mostly effective on younger children.
I choose this year because in 1961, Albert Bandura perfomed the Bobo Doll experiment and told everyone about his findings.
