WW1 started, Germany started the war, because they felt mistreated, getting treated poorly.

Germany lost World War 1. They had to sign a unfavorable; Treaty of Versailles. They payed massive funds of money, and had to give up a lot of profitable coal, and metal land, They also had to lose some land. So their country shrank.

Germany had to pay lots of money, so they made money. Which lowered value of money.

Hitler attempts to take over Germany's government. The government knew they were coming, and they had soldiers, and police officers waiting. They rallied them up, and then arrested them, and brought them to trial. Hitler took advantage that he was going to court. There was news reporters, and said that it was the Jews faults, and they all believed. It goes on recording's, and newspaper's all around Germany. So his spreads over Germany. There all believing him, because of his point on the Jews.

It was a very humongous devastating genocide in the world. About 6 million Jews died, because of Hitlers hatred towards the Jews. Hitler scapegoated the Jews on WW1. A total of 11 million people died.

He eliminated political rivals to the Nazi party. Since of his popularity, Hitler want's lots of power. He is put to chancellor, president doesn't want to give him lots of power.

The Reichstag fire. Hitler blamed the communists for the fire. He then decided to arrest the communist.

Early on, the camps were for imprisonment and hard labor, not for killing. First ment for poitical prisoners.

Hitler ask's for temporary full power. When in power he makes all other political parties besides the Nazi power illegal. This allows Hitler to take in charge.

Nazis needed away to identify Jews. They made anti Jew laws. If half Jew-German, were considered Jewish. Made them were David stars. They take away rights, and discriminate them.

Germany takes land back, they pretty much say that they just want to take land back. They created lots of guns, tanks, planes, ammo; other countries just warn them.

Nazis destroyed burned, took away; Jewish homes, synagogues, vandalized Jewish homes, Jewish schools and Jew businesses. They at least killed 100 Jews.

First death camp used mostly gas chambers to kill. They used Zyklon B, killed in 2 min. Only needs oxygen, to release lethal gas.

Mr. Dussel moves in, and kinda freaks out with the cat, because he is allergic to cats. Has to bunk with Anne, they dont get along what so ever.

Nazis are starting to relocate people, and Margot receive a notification for a relocation. Then they decided to move into the secret annex early than planed

Prisoners fought back at death camps. After stealing weapons from the guards, prisoners tried to escape. Most were killed but a few dozen prisoners made it out and survived the war.

Residents were smuggling weapons, Uprising lasted for a month. The SS troops arrested and deported residents after the uprising ended.

The sonderkommando people fought and killed 70 SS guards, and destroyed a big crematorium. Although in response 250 of the prisoners were killed and another 200 other people.

Allies advanced toward the death camps. Nazi's evacuated prisoners, then they march to Germany to avoid capture. There was very brutal treatment, and harsh condition along the way.

Camps throughout Europe are liberated by Allied forces.

American, and Russia troops liberate camps, prisoner suffer from disease,and starvation. Germany tried to hide it. Burned camps, bodies. Forgot to get rid of gas chambers. We found clothes, hair, and lots of it.

Hitler and his wife commit suicide. They would rather commit suicide than being caught by the Soviets. A week later Germany surrendered.

The Allies and the International Community put a number of Germans on trial for War Crimes, Crimes Against Peace and Crimes Against Humanity.
